The most common cause of infertility in mares lies in an unhealthy endometrium. If there is something wrong with your horse’s uterus, it is most likely due to a hormonal disturbance. 

For an optimum hormone balance, the production and breakdown of hormones must run perfectly in sync. The decomposition happens in your horse’s liver—and that is often where the problem hides. 

Oestrovum not only assists in the production and breakdown of hormones, but also in the foetal development of the foal.

• Broccoli powder reduces the formation of harmful oestrogens and stimulates the decomposing enzymes in your horse’s liver.
• Folic acid, vitamin B12, choline and betaine provide the necessary nutrients for the breakdown of hormones and toxic substances in the liver. They also support the development of the embryo.
• Cysteine is a building block of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant. If the liver does not break down hormones properly, this means that the production of glutathione is disrupted. The result: cell damage and reduced fertility.
