BCS MIX is a dietary supplement rich in omega-3 fatty acids to promote gut health, boost the immune system and to provide extra energy for:

• skinny horses;
• sport horses;
• breeding stallions;
• older horses;
• pregnant mares (mainly third trimester);
• lactating mares; and
• foals after weaning.

The omega-3 fatty acid DHA has a positive effect on gut health and the immune system of horses, as from a daily dosage of 1500 mg. BCS MIX is a food supplement for horses, ponies, and foals with a high amount of DHA (1,2).

Vitamin E is an essential antioxidant for horses, ponies, and foals. It helps maintain a healthy immune system and supports normal muscle and nerve function. Horses need vitamin E in their diet because they cannot synthesize it. BCS MIX is a dietary supplement containing natural vitamin E. Horses absorb natural vitamin E twice as well as the synthetic form (3).

Vegetable oil provides the primary fuel source for long-duration exercise. It reduces sweating, promotes faster recovery, and does not make your horse nervous (4,5).

Linseed and microalgae oil positively impact skin health in horses and ponies and provide a shiny coat (6).

DOSAGE PER DAY

To avoid digestive upset, BCS MIX should be gradually introduced in the diet over a 2 week period. Start with 5 to 10 mL and add 10 mL until you reach the daily recommended dose.
